Algebra IA  

1.0 Credit (Algebra I)  

 

This course is designed for high school students, but may be taken by eligible middle school students. 

 

  • Algebra IA  Students will study the foundational skills of Algebra including equations, multi-step word problems, geometry basics, linear graphing and quadratic equations.  

  • Students will complete Lessons 1-60 this year and complete Lessons 61-120 next year.

  • This approach allows us to dive deep into the subject with extra review. 

  • TRA will provide all tests and assessments.

  • TEXTBOOK only:  SAXON Algebra 1             (3rd edition)

  • 3-ring binder 1.5 or 2 inch

  • 3 tab dividers (Notes/Handouts, Homework, Tests/Quizzes)

  • Graph paper

  • Loose notebook paper

  • Ruler Straight edge, Compass, Protractor

  • Scientific Calculator REQUIRED

  • Students are NOT permitted to use the Solutions Manual.
